Smart Circle International - Fantastic company
Yes. This company expects their representatives to work very, very hard. Yes. This is challenging. Yes. We work in the largest retailers in the world. Yes. It is a sales job earning commission and base pay. Yes. We stay positive in the face of all the negativity out there in the rest of the work force, BECAUSE we think differently. Yes. Work your butt off, and you can manage a territory representing the largest brands in the world.
You are probably not going to understand "why" in the first 2 weeks. However, if you want to learn how to distance yourself from the rest of the employee-minded, frustrated people that make up most of this country, ask questions. If your manager can't answer them, don't complain. Simply ask someone else.
Strive to be better than you are. Complaining and wildly speculating about Smart Circle will keep you in the exact, stagnant position you are in right now.
Do your research.

One SS drone told me after receiving all the in-depth marketing training he would be more knowledgeable than a marketing degree-holder from a reputable university.n Given that he doesn't get (or want to admit) that his job is entry-level lead generation (re. SALES), I had to laugh for about ten minutes.
The more research I do the worse this company sounds. I love how they spin "working for little or no pay" to "employee-minded people." Ask your upline whether you can sell your business once you "own" it.
Ask why team leaders insist its a marketing position, when clearly its basic, door-to-door-style sales and/or lead generation.
The subterfuge is not very well hidden for anyone with a brain.
I see you're from New York! What an absolute dream job!
I loved my time there lugging around 50lbs of makeup on my back for eight hours a day while inturrupting people others' work days! I think the highlight of my time at the NYC Smart Circle branch was when I had to go peddle makeup in the projects!
My goodness!
What great "marketing" skills I learned! Now, as I write-up marketing strategies, go over sales goals, and coach my team at my current job, I am always certain to reference Smart Circle when it comes time to speak of how NOT to do business!
I am betting you also enjoyed not getting paid too. I understand that is another fantastic perk working for one of their offices.
Quick, someone call 911, this dude has overdosed on the koolaid.
How do you know if someone is in a stagnant position? You don't know anyone who is posting about Smart Circle, you do not know their situation. Don't ASSume, it makes you look more of an id*ot than you already are.
Yes! Do your research and find thousands horror stories about this cult. Well done guys.
